Bren-Ko Patterns offers custom manufacturing and prototype production of industrial foundry patterns, with specific applications for cope and drag boards. Our skilled craftsmen build patterns from a number of materials including wood, foam, urethane, and metal utilizing traditional manual techniques as well as high tech CNC machining methods. Our fabrication equipment includes state of the art manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, sanders, jointers, planers, and a host of other wood working equipment. We have the capacity to make detailed patterns for parts as small as 1”, all the way up to 120” in diameter and weighing 2 tons. Our highly developed patternmaking process includes blue print reading, layout and design, cutting, milling, machining, joint and plane, sawing, sanding, painting, checking for inconsistencies and repairing if necessary. We use cutting edge software including Bob CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, and SolidEdge to produce 3D renderings and simulate the entire process, ensuring the highest precision and functionality levels.
We produce patterns of optimal accuracy, working with customers to create the desired results that fit with their casting process. In addition to providing custom foundry patterns, we also offer drawing design and welding services. Our customers own their finished patterns. All of our products and services are subjected to thorough dimensional inspections, and meet the highest standards as set by the Foundry Society. For more information about our custom industrial patterns, or our other value added services please see the table below or contact us directly.
